Description Green wool traditional handspun/handwoven Doukhobor fabric long sleeves with plain cuff. Three topstiched yoke tucks (on each side) fall to open pleats to waist. Front plaque ha six decorative green buttons with snaps underneath. Neck is bound with grossgrain ribbon. Back centre panel tapered from shoulder, narrowing at hem. Sewn by Elizabeth before her marriage. Married at 16 years of age.
